In the paper industry rollers really get a workout. Compared to other industries, paper industry rollers are characterized by two key-words: faster and bigger!  Some of them are as big as 1 meter in diameter, are 12 meters long and may turn as fast as 100 km/h in an abrasive and caustic environment. That is why covering characteristics in the pulp and paper industry are clearly different from other roll types.
